Q: For readers just meeting you, what is it you actually do?

A:  I lead Probitas. We started as a climate movement, but movements don't change anything, they just ask nicely and wait. So we built something that doesn't wait. Virident marks people with colors based on their climate behavior: green, yellow, black. That's nice, but it stops short.  ProbOnyx takes it further:  if your temple disc turns black, I don't just know it. I can act on it.  I can do something about it.  

Q: Act on it, meaning what, exactly?

A:  Meaning control. Not metaphorically. We can freeze a person mid-step. Sit them down. March them into custody without a single officer laying a hand on them. Call it self-arrest, if that's easier to hear.

Q: That sounds less like enforcement and more like control.

A:  Call it what you like. The world's had decades of summits and pledges and urgent warnings that changed nothing. We can't afford to be polite about it any longer.

Q: Critics say you've built a mind control system.

A:  They've all been living under mind control for decades, they just didn't build it themselves. I did. I don't ask for compliance, I create it. That's true leadership.

Q: You've called your work divinely ordained, like it's the second coming. That's a heavy claim.

A:  Maybe it's the first coming. God gave us religion for millennia, to what ends? More people have been killed in the name of their God than for any other reason. Religion's failed us. Maybe this is the second first coming: maybe God has decided it's time to hand His will off to man. The glitch that broke this country was divine intervention. We are the architects of what comes next.

Q: And if you're wrong?

A:  I won't be.  It's already happening.  I can already prove I'm right.

Q: Last question. What should readers take away about you?

A:  That I was here first. Whatever comes next, whoever claims to have seen it coming, I was already building it while they were still debating whether it was possible.
