About the author

A veteran of the U.S. Army (1999-2013), this author's worldview was forged through approximately two years deployed in the dangerous war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan before being medically retired due to combat injuries and PTSD. His education spans history, programming, graphic design, public speaking, business, and theology—a multifaceted foundation that enriches the depth of his fictional worlds.

Having lived in or spent extended periods across South Korea, Japan, Germany, France, Poland, and Italy, he draws from a well of global experiences that breathe authenticity into his narratives. Born in the 1980s, his childhood was marked by an early encounter with loss that perhaps planted the seeds for his exploration of human resilience in the face of darkness.

An enthusiast of anime and immersive role-playing games, he writes not for acclaim, but for connection—finding purpose in creating worlds that offer readers respite, adventure, and reflection. His measure of success is beautifully simple: if even one reader finds joy within these pages, he considers his mission accomplished.

I write because I enjoy it, and I write for other people to enjoy it.
