David McMullen is an Australian author/poet/lyricist/songwriter. His family tree is littered with literary folk, the best known being the much revered iconic Australian author/poet, Henry Lawson. Words are in his genes.

He was born in Tasmania – his mother was Tasmanian born, his father a US Marine from The Bronx in New York:

Many are also currently signed to Music Publishers around the world. He has also recorded the soundtrack to the storyline of his latest novel ‘The Hang-Up’.
