Elle Fran has spent a lifetime working with, laughing with, crying with people ... sometimes, nice people, sometimes, less nice people, but always interesting people!  Irish, living partly in the UK and partly in Spain, she has 20 books out in the wideworld, most 'detective', but some with a more mystery and quirky 'who/how/why' done it flavour.  All the books are based in some kind of 'reality' ... because many of the people, places, circumstances have led to the theme of the story, though happily only the 'theme' ... she has not known, harboured, felt kindly towards many (any!) real life murderers - nor real life detectives for that matter.
