About the author

Born in the Niagara Peninsula and now live in Alberta.  Backpacked the world on the Hippie Trail and lived in Australia.  I've been a sales rep, construction, iron worker to assembly lines, boilermaker apprentice, mink ranch hand, and settled on a firefighter career for 32 years. I am now retired and have written a three book firefighter crime series previously published by BWL Publishing.  I've also played drums in a Big Band, smuggler, climbed the Great Wall of China, honeymooned during the Grenada Revolution, snorkeled with a marlin, smuggler into Communist Russia, and egged an Aussie PM—and as they say, much, much more.

I travel widely, manage a writer’s group, do occasional renos, and read profusely. I write travel articles, YA, MG, a DIYs, and have garnered several awards.
