WAR“Get the fuck up!” yells Pete’s lieutenant as the snap, crackle, and pop of battle rings out all around them. “Fuck you!” Pete yells back at the officer, who responds by sucker punching him in the mouth “Do you think you’re the only one who's scared!?” they shout pausing to fire down at the enemy before turning back to Pete and shouting, “Fire your weapon private!” He stops to shoot a figure. Who in the thin light of the moon and searchlights looks like they’re throwing a baseball at them.
