Sathiavathy Pakiam Gunaratnam who pens by the name Pichui, is an avid storyteller who tries to focus on LGBTQ narratives that explore love, identity, and the complexities of human relationships.  Her work highlights the voices and experience of queer characters, revealing their authenticity whilst highlighting their cries of despair due to society's norms.  Recommended by the Pacific Book Review as well as the US Review of Books, her debut book, Crimson Red - Unconditional Love, is a Category Finalist in the 2022 Eric Hoffer Book Award.  Her passion for writing and uplifting her readers, drives her to continuously put ideas and thoughts to paper, coming up with interesting and thought-provoking books, meant to stop discrimination and judgement.
