About the author
From a young age, R. J. Stevens developed a deep love for books, writing songs, and crafting poems. In seventh grade, her talent earned her an honorable mention in the Broken Arrow High School Anthology Book with a Haiku she created as a class assignment.
As a mother, she and her husband founded a small Christian publication called The Eagle’s Cry. One of her memorable contributions was a story titled Inspector Angel, which presented a modern twist on several Bible stories. Readers eagerly awaited each new issue. During this period, she also served as a Music Minister, with one of her songs, Blood Bought Believer, becoming a favorite among many.
Life took an unexpected turn and for many years, R. J. Stevens only managed to submit one poem, which was accepted for publication. After a forced retirement, her family encouraged her to write again. After a two-year struggle, she published **Charlie's Park Bench**, a family life fiction novel. This was followed by the **Heroes of Wolf Creek Series**—a collection of five romantic, suspenseful, and western-themed stories. Her most recent book, **Face in the Shadows**, is a new favorite for many of her fans.
Through her storytelling, R. J. Stevens discovered that letting her imagination run wild helped heal many of her past wounds. She now writes to offer her readers a joyful escape from life's pressures. Keep an eye out for more exciting books from this aspiring author.
